spain to rexburg, idaho.

i got back from europe safely. but not happily.
it was the hardest thing ever leaving spain and flying to rexburg idaho.
and i left my ipod touch in spain.
but at least i have about $40 worth of german chocolate. a wax seal from venice. vintage clothes and purses from paris. artist prints from england. jewelry from spain. i'm happy.
i love europe.

so, icecream right? NO. that is gelato. gelato. gellllatttto.
it was my favorite word in italy. i spent near 20 euros on gelato. i honestly had it two to three times a day while in rome and florence.
the left is trolli cookies and ferro rocher flavor. and the right is pistachio and nutella. that's right nutella.

book of the week.



















my favorite museum or art gallery of all of europe is the national gallery in london. better than the louvre, hands down. it was so organized. and the rooms were numbered. and big and bright. and every bit of my favorite art was there. the only thing was we only had 2 hours there before we left on the boat for paris. i bought this book at the national gallery before i left. i love it so much.

car of the week.














i took about 40 pictures of cars. i loved every car i saw in london. and in italy, oh my gosh they're so small and adorable. i want to import a a cute little white fiat. but this blue one is incredible, i want it so much.

artist of the week:
giuseppe arcimboldo
he is amazing. i don't know why he's not given more attention in art history books and my classes. if you just look closely, it's just incredible. i stood in front of water (on the left) for so long just looking at all the detail. it's eyes are a fish, it's cheeks are a manta ray, it's mouth is a shark. so cool!!












musicians of the week.
i along with alot of america love this show.
i've missed alot of it while in europe, like the lady ga ga episode, and neil patrick harris being on there. but one day i will get caught up. i have all the music from it. it just makes me so happy. sue sylvester is hilarious.
rachel on the show, miss michelle was in spring awakening, and has been on broadway pretty much since she was a child. she's unbelievably talented. idina menzel and kristin chenoweth have been on the show as well.












creation of the week.
so...i haven't really created anything, unless you count some of the little sketches i made in my journals while in europe. and now i'm about to start my second block classes at school, and hopefully i can take book binding. then i will put all my beautiful books on here as my creations. but in the mean time, i'm just going to post some of my favorite things from europe.














we went to abbey road, i went twice in one day.
it was great.



side note:
i only have 7 weeks and then i can go home. and then i'll be playing all fall in columbia. i love the fall in south carolina. and my parents got a cute little white subaru that i will drive until i buy my new car. and i'll be working at my favorite place ever, mellow mushroom. and working on my art portfolio. then i move to provo in january. yay.
